“Buffalo Grass”

24”x24”oil on canvas  mounted on wood panel with brass tacks

This painting is inspired from walking through the surviving native prairie and the abundance of life seen there. The man exists in the past and the present, the grass named for the bison, pulled, still lives and even flowers. The bison skull represents not only the animal but the ancient spirit of the very grassland itself and the monarchs are the ancestral spirits that weave through between worlds

In A Valley Of Violence

Dark westerns are my favorite and “In A
Valley Of Violence” is one of them. Very ”High Plains Drifter” vibe,
I would recommend watching both movies back to back .After another
screening I was inspired to make a poster for it, take a little
paint break, thanks for looking!
